A cocktail from the American Bar
Diana's Tea
Created by Alessandro Grasso, bartender at the Diana Grand Hotel in Alassio, for the Alassio Drink event, Diana's Tea is one of the signature cocktails available at the American Bar of the 4-star hotel, which features a spa, a private beach, and two restaurants: Diana Gourmet, with the expertise of Michelin 1* chef Ivano Ricchebono at The Cook, and La Marina. Based on a vodka flavored with saffron and an Italian bitter liqueur made from 15 herbs, Amaro Tosolini, the recipe also includes Grand Marnier, which echoes the orange flavor of the bitter liqueur, the pungency of ginger beer, orange zest, and an edible flower. The name refers to the context in which it is served and its color, which is reminiscent of iced tea.
